What is Risk Engineering/Loss Control?
Risk Engineering and Loss Control refer to processes of evaluating risks at operating facilities and presenting those risks and associated risk reduction measures to the insurance underwriting community. This includes the conduct of safety consultative services and loss estimate studies, including EML.

Echelon’s Approach
We work in partnership with our clients, insurers, risk engineers and other external experts (where relevant/necessary) to ensure a common focus and understanding, and to ensure that services delivered truly address the issues.

Where required, engineering experts will conduct surveys on property, plant and machinery risks directly for our clients. This typically includes training and education on technical aspects of risk identification and assessment techniques and loss control.

You will also receive a comprehensive risk engineering report at the end of the risk engineering exercise.
